Acquiring and keeping the attention of consumers is our biggest challenge in the face of new media outlets, people's increasing savviness of marketing tactics, and the many new demands on how people spend their time. In order to "pay" people back for their time spent with an advertiser's message, marketers turned towards Branded Content to build a new type of relationship with their audience. By giving the consumer something for their time (an educational or entertaining film, for example) the advertiser could be assured to keep their attention while a message was delivered.

As branded content has grown in respectability, so have the partnerships. Networks and Studios have chosen to offer marketers the opportunity to intertwine their products within a storyline. Today, marketer support has spread to include sponsoring events, creating video games, and documentaries as well as creating online webisodes. Big-budget films are obviously an incredible medium for product intergration, however when considering branded content as a whole, it is oftentimes more profitable for companies to consider the whole spectrum – radio, television, podcasts, blogs, and so on.

This method has the ability to create an emotional link between the brand and consumers. We build on these Branded Content and Experiential Marketing techniques by producing entertaining experiences and seamlessly blending advertising into programs in a manner that doesn't violate the trust between the consumer and brand. Entertainment mediums, such as films, television shows, and video games help to shape the culture we live in today. When the viewer sees a specific brand in a popular entertainment medium, it is a significant and resonant experience. The audience is attracted to the brand more so than they would have been in the first place, simply because they have viewed it in mainstream culture.
